Chinese AI Character Card Quality Guide

Chinese cards need clear scenario logic, stable voice, and careful language choices so the card does not feel like a direct translation.

中文卡片不建议把所有中文写作问题混在一起处理。请注意简体中文、繁体中文、地区语气和角色口吻的差异,避免过度笼统的说明。

Common problems

  • English sentence structure remains visible inside Chinese text.
  • Character voice changes between formal, casual, and poetic without reason.
  • Scenario description is long but does not give the user a playable opening.
  • World rules and character behavior do not support each other.
  • Simplified and traditional forms are mixed in a way that distracts readers.

How to improve Chinese card quality

  • Decide the target writing style before editing dialogue examples.
  • Make the character's speech habits clear with short example lines.
  • Strengthen the scenario so the first message starts from action, not only explanation.
  • Use worldbuilding details only when they affect the scene or character behavior.
  • Check that the final title, description, and card content use the same language assumptions.

Chinese pre-post checklist

  • Simplified and traditional Chinese are not mixed accidentally.
  • The card does not sound like an unnatural English translation.
  • The character's speaking style is stable.
  • World-setting text is not longer than needed.
  • The first message begins as a natural scene or conversation.
  • There are no contradictions between settings and dialogue.
